Lauren’s Purple Day Event
Lauren’s Purple Day Event will be held on Thursday, November 14th, 2024 from 6 pm to 9 pm at 386 Minorca Avenue, Coral Gables.
Each year thousands of individuals are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. At Lauren’s Face the Day, our goal is to help those diagnosed with our annual Lauren’s Purple Day Fundraiser. Created in 2010, Lauren’s Purple Day has brought together members of our community to help raise awareness for pancreatic cancer. All proceeds from the event go towards PANCAN a United States-based 501 charity. Everyone can make the world a better place. If you or your company is interested in donating raffle prizes, food or entertainment for the event, please feel free to contact us. We can’t wait until our next Lauren’s Purple Day Event in November to share a magical evening with our clients united in such a great cause!
One Night, One Cause
Lauren’s Purple Day is a wonderful cause to participate along with an excellent marketing opportunity for your business. Donors receive a spot on our website, in addition to a mention on all our social media channels. Marketing material can also be added to our Lauren’s Purple Day goodie bags. Donations can consist of food, beverages, entertainment, décor, raffle prizes, or anything else you would be kind enough to consider donating.
Why We Do It
In 2010, the co-founder of Lauren’s Face the Day, Alan Sales, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, a disease with a less than 11% survival rate and few treatment options. The team at Lauren’s Face the Day Spa decided that they wanted to do what they could to help; and so, Lauren’s Purple Day was created. Although Alan lost his battle, Lauren’s Face the Day continues the tradition with the annual fundraising event. We have raised over $50,000.00 for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and we are committed to making a change.
